What comes to your mind when you think about the above title? Do you think of something around the lines of self-care? Perhaps, you thought of going to doctors, trainers, different types of coaches and asking them how you should live?
Consider a short list. A list of why you might want to take better care of yourself. This list might include:
- Enjoying more energy and peace of mind.
- Ability to accomplish more of your bucket list.
- Becoming a role model to bless others.
- Keeping up physically with my children and grandchildren.
- Being able to enjoy the fruit of your labors rather than needing daily maintenance to get by.
Personal motivation might on occasion be lesser than external motivations. It has however been the most effective catalyst for action and change. Perhaps your list will surprise you with all the reasons you have to strive for better health.
Why not spend some time writing your own list? Consider this “battle” plan:
Step 1: Establish why you are going into battle.
Step 2: Put some time into learning how to win your battles and get to your goal.
Step 3: If you are able, find someone to go over your plan. To help you verify it, optimize and improve it.
Step 4: FIGHT!
May you enjoy abundant health,
