When you think about investing, what comes to mind? For many of us, we think about stocks, bonds, properties, or our retirement account. Today, I would like you to think about investing in one of your most important assets…your personal health.
There are many ways that we can invest in our health, such as taking time to walk each day, plant a garden, or take time to cook healthy meals. These daily habits are very important to our overall health and well-being! There are also times that we realize we need a little more support in our health journey to make significant strides towards improving our health. This might include taking a much-needed vacation, paying for a fitness trainer, or signing-up for an intensive lifestyle improvement program, such as a cooking class, diabetes reversal program, anxiety and depression recovery program, etc.
One way to effectively jump start your health journey is by participating in an intensive lifestyle program at a lifestyle center. In many cases, people take between 5-20 days to stay at lifestyle center in a beautiful rural setting to improve their health. Most lifestyle centers offer healthy & delicious meals, regular exercise, hydrotherapy, massage, relaxing time in nature, and a variety of health education classes (ex. cooking classes, natural remedies, mental health, etc.). Depending on the location, some lifestyle centers provide trained medical staff, disease specific treatments (ex. red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen chamber, etc.). Many people, who take the time to invest in their health by participating in a lifestyle residential program, experience amazing results.
